International Philosophy Colloquium

Academic Chair, Bernard Schumacher, University of Fribourg
Bernard Schumacher serves as chairman of our International Philosophy Colloquium, which meets annually, alternating between Paris and Munich. As an international association of scholars, the colloquium works collaboratively toward resolving important problems in contemporary philosophy. We expect our latest series of meetings to result in the publication in 2009 of a collection of philosophical essays on love.
Members of our International Philosophy Colloquium include David Marshall (Munich), Barbara Gerl-Falkowics (Dresden) Bertold Wald (Paderborn), Michael Waldstein, Paul Griffiths (Duke), Raphael Alvira (Navarro), Jaroslaw Kupczak (Krakow), Hans-Bernhard Wuermeling, David Burrell (Notre Dame), Rolf Schoenberger (Regensburg), Kenneth Schmitz (Toronto), Adriaan Peperzak (Loyola), Bernard Schumacher (Fribourg), David Solomon (Notre Dame), John O'Callaghan (Notre Dame), Hans Otto Seitschek (Munich), Remi Brague (Paris I, Munich), John Haldane (St. Andrews) and Kurt Pritzl (Catholic University of America) and Jean-Luc Marion (Paris IV, Chicago)
